Thursday a HUGE box had shown up at my house. I knew my mom and grandmother were sending me some things, so I thought that is what the box was. I opened the box to realize it was my BABY SHOWER!!! It brought happy tears to my eyes, and then I started feeling bad, that I had felt bad about my family not wanting to send anything. Lol, but that was soon forgotten as soon as I started opening the packages!
I'm sharing pictures of some of my favorites. Now everything was amazing and I LOOOOOVE everything that I received, but I just had to share a few of them. Above is the quilt my brother's Fiance, Hannah, made for Delilah. There is a little handmade tag on the baby of it that reads, For Delilah From Aunt Hannah 2009, all hand stitched.
These items above are all from my sister Renee. I think she went a little overboard!!! But I love it all, including the purple corduroy dress. It's my favorite outfit! She also sent a pack of onesies, a hooded towel, wash cloths and a pack of receiving blankets.

You can make out her sweet little face now. She's got to be really crowded in there. She was folded in half with both her hands and feet in front of her face... Hard to believe that in less than 3 months she'll be here! The pregnancy seems to be going much quicker this time around, and I'm enjoying it a lot more. I think it's because I'm older and I can appreciate it more.We finally got on the ball and went shopping for her. I most likely wont have a baby shower since all of my family and most of my friends live in Maine. Though I'm sure I will be receiving some things from them in the mail. We used the Dr. Spock book and went through it for all of the clothing things it recommended. Onsies, play clothes, sleep clothes, blankets, towels, wash clothes etc. I wanted to get a good deal of it myself, but I always wanted to leave the option open for family who planned on sending things. Not pictured are the pack and play (all in one bassinet, changing table and playpen) and the matching swing. They are set up in her room right now, but both will be moved out once she's here.
I'm still hunting around ETSY for cute finds for her. I fell in love with this little dress the moment I saw it. I'll definitely be back for more of them. Be sure to check out her shop for the most adorable dresses and hair bows. http://www.tosweetpeafromme.etsy.com/ The bibs are Velcro and lined with chenille to be soft against her neck and skin. This etsy seller offers lots of kid and adult friendly items in the most popular fabrics http://www.mushybug.etsy.com/

1. a DOUBLE MINKY BABY BLANKET I found on sale at www.SugarPlumkin.etsy.com
2. MEDIUM PINK BABY HEAD BAND BOW and she was sweet enough to send me the white princess bow as well. Found them at www.LollyBopBaby.etsy.com
3. a BUNDLE OF BURP CLOTHS from www.DiaperCakeDivas.etsy.com could these be any more cute? Almost too nice to use, but I think I'll manage. These arent little light weigh cloths either. Thick and durable, they'll be able to clean up any mess Delilah throws at them.

I changed it around a little bit, but mostly followed the outline, to make it work for this layout. The flourish is a one of a kind creation that I put together using prima crystals and prima felt. I just cut the felt pattern apart and pieced together a new one. Then to finish it off I added the prima crystals. I'm pretty pleased with all the detail and how it came together. I'll definitely be creating from more actual sketches in the future!
A new layout can be found in my scrapbook shop. www.paperprincess34.etsy.com along with my newest sale running through the end of the month. Purchases of 35 or more will receive free shipping. See the shop for the selection and all the details.

Buckets of watermelon cupcake goodness! I knew I had to save enough of this fragrance to try it out on the cupcakes. They smell perfectly juicy and sweet, just as you'd expect watermelon in the summer to taste and smell. Of course I dont recommend tasting them...
Watermelon is quickly becoming my new favorite scent. I've only had the fragrance for a week or so and already need to order more. This is definitely a scent I'm keeping around. I've used it in every type of product I make, so you have options. The shea butter soap (I have a bar in each bathroom!), the cupcakes from above, sugar scrubs and a bath salt. Head over to the shop to check them out. Get them now at a discount! 10% off your entire order when you purchase a sugar scrub or bath salt!

One of my favorite shower necessities, sugar scrubs, and because they are my favorite, they are on sale! Also included in this sale are my bath salts. Just purchase one of these shower and/or bath temptations and you'll receive 10% off your entire order.
Sugar scrubs are great for polishing your skin while removing dead and dull skin cells, leaving your skin silky smooth. I keep a jar of this in my shower!
Or enhance your bath experience with some bath salts. I use a combination of Epsom salts and dead sea salts to get your blood circulating, and help relieve stress all while moisturizing your skin.

For the last week I've been pretty crampy, you know, the regular monthly thing, except, no monthly thing! My skin hates me right now, I'm all broken out, lets not even talking about emotions. I'll start crying. And of course, the nausea!
So on a hunch, I bought a pregnancy test while I was at Walmart yesterday. I dont do a good job at keeping track of when I'm supposed to "start" so I didnt know if I should use it yet or not. After thinking about it all night long, I decided, I have enough symptoms right now that if it's pregnancy hormones making me feel the way I do, then the test would detect them. So I peed on it...
Almost immediately the positive sign appeared! Now being April Fool's day, my hubby didnt believe me at first when I told him... today isnt such a good day to let news like that out of the bag!
I asked my son (who is 7) if he wanted a brother or a sister... he said BOTH! Then he told me my belly wasnt big enough to have a baby in it...

A while back I was sharing my latest Prima supplies. It's not often that I go outside of my comfort zone and make something with a Punk theme. So here is my take on it, keeping it punk, but girly at the same time. I could totally rock this layout!
On a side note, I'm having a spur of the moment sale, 25% off, in the paper shop for the remainder of the weekend. I have a large selection of cards and layouts to choose from as well as a couple mini albums. This sale will end 11:59pm central time on Sunday evening.
Another little note, I will be discontinuing my cards as they expire this time around, so get them while you can.

Her baby crocheted baby blankets are so sweet and you can imagine how soft they are from the texture in her photos! Her shop is the first place I will be shopping should I ever have another child... or well, if I need a baby gift for someone special.

I just had to share my Pretty In Pink layout. Hair color has come up a lot in the etsy chat. Yes, it's true, I've had pink hair. I think I rocked it pretty well too :) The picture was quite a few years ago when I was 21 or 22. That's 5 or 6 years ago for anyone keeping track... Do we need to hear the story, cause of course, I didnt make my hair pink on purpose. I was getting highlights, blonde and red, and well the red ran into the blonde and turned pink. She offered to fix it in a couple days (had to wait a while to avoid further damaging my hair), but it grew on me and I ended up keeping the look.
Now that I've shared my hair story, dont forget about the sale in my PaperPrincess shop. For details about the sale in MyOtherPrincess shop, read the post below.
